The moment I almost quit Disney

The moment I almost quit Disney

I want to tell you a story.

When I was working at Disney, there was a moment that almost made me quit.

I’d been there a while. I was good at my job. I showed up early, stayed late, followed the rules, and did everything right.

Then one day, I made a mistake. A small one. Nothing catastrophic—just a human moment.

And instead of pulling me aside and coaching me through it, my manager called me out publicly, right in front of my team.

I was humiliated. Angry. Embarrassed.
And honestly… ready to walk out.

But then something happened that changed everything.

Another cast member—someone who’d been there longer—caught up with me after my shift. They said:

“Hey, that sucked. That’s not how we do things here. Your manager was having a bad day. Let me show you how to handle this better next time.”

And they did.

That moment taught me something that has shaped my entire philosophy on culture:

Policies don’t create culture.

Support does.

Disney had amazing training. Clear expectations. Strong vision.

But what made Disney truly magical wasn’t the corporate playbook—
it was the support systems that cast members created for each other.

That’s why the Magnetic Culture Equation isn’t just:

Vision + Expectations

It’s:

Vision + Expectations + SUPPORT

Because without support, the whole thing collapses.

And that’s exactly what I’m going to show you how to build on December 19.

Not just the vision.
Not just the expectations.
But the support systems that make your practice magnetic—
the kind that keep your best people from walking out after a bad day,
and the kind that empower your team to support each other, not rely on you for everything.

Limited to just 20 participants.
