Can a Shorter Week Boost Your Revenue?

Can a Shorter Week Boost Your Revenue?

First off, thank you. Seriously.

After last Friday’s email announcing that I purchased a chiropractic practice in Arizona, I was completely blown away by the outpouring of support, congratulations, and “Wait… what?!” messages.

It made me realize two things:

  1. I’ve surrounded myself with the most amazing people on the planet.
  2. Some of you think I’ve hung up my mic and retired from orthodontic consulting to go full-time Chiro.

Let me clear that up:

I’m not leaving ortho. I’m not stepping away from public speaking. I’m simply adding to my business profile—not starting over. Think of it like expanding the menu, not closing the restaurant.

Now, speaking of chiropractic practices, let me tell you about my experience with one of my favorite Chiropractors, Dr. Jason West.

Jason was actually my very first client when I began working with practices on culture, connection, and communication. He had a thriving destination practice in Idaho—so successful that patients literally flew in from Dubai, Saudi Arabia, and Alaska. (No joke—private planes were involved.)

Despite all that success, he came to me with a very specific goal: “I want to make this the best place to work for my team and make more money working fewer hours.”

Challenge accepted.

We kicked things off at a team retreat in Salt Lake City where I helped them align their already powerful vision with meaningful core values—the kind that actually drive behavior, not just decorate the breakroom. Over the course of a year, we built systems, moved people into the right roles, upgraded the team mindset, and created a culture that supported his vision.

The result? A 4-day workweek instead of 5 Higher revenue A tighter, happier, and more engaged team

Oh, and a bonus: he helped my wife Shannon with a chronic knee issue. So yes, the benefits were personal and professional.

Don’t just take my word for it—here’s what Jason had to say about the experience:

Why do I tell you this?

Because change is never easy—but everyone loves an upgrade. And that’s what true core values create when done right: a sense of purpose, pride, and alignment that makes your team feel like they’re part of something better—not just checking more boxes.

Whether you’re running a new practice, a legacy business, or somewhere in between, I’ve developed a process that helps leaders crystalize their vision, align their teams, and grow not just their numbers—but their impact.

So no, I’m not leaving my consulting work. I’m just walking my talk—building the kind of practice I help others create.

Let me know how I can help you do the same.

Talk soon,

Dino
